I always felt behind when it came to the latest AI developments in my field, and when I signed up for AI news digests, I felt overwhelmed and lost with so much news and updates! Most of which was not even relevant to me. Like, a product manager isn't really likely to care to about the new hyperparameter optimization done in an open source model, but an AI researcher would! I found this to be a real gap in the market, there were no solid interest-specific AI news curators.
