When does a voice agent need a face?

We launched Talking Avatar on Product Hunt today. It gives AI voice agents a face that moves with their speech in real time.

The idea came from building AI interviewers at InterviewFlowAI. In a long conversation, seeing someone react can make the interaction feel more natural. But we were curious where else a face would make a difference.

Would you want one for a language tutor? A coach that helps you practice a hard conversation? A support agent walking you through a setup? And where would you still prefer voice alone?

If you’re already building a voice agent, tell us what it does and where you’d try an avatar. We’d love to hear what you’re building.

Been fun watching this go from an interviewer feature to its own thing. For me the biggest difference is that a face makes it feel like an actual conversation, not like you’re talking to a bot on a screen.
