Built a $9 one-time alternative to $29/month resume subscriptions, launching next Tuesday
Hey everyone,
I'm launching TailorMyResume next Tuesday (Oct 27) and wanted to share the story and gather some early feedback.
The problem: most job seekers send the exact same generic resume to every posting. ATS software filters by keywords before a human ever reads it — a huge share of resumes get rejected without anyone actually looking at them.
What I built: paste your resume + the job posting, and TailorMyResume rewrites every bullet with the right keywords in about 60 seconds. It also writes a matching cover letter for free. One-time $9 payment — no subscription, because job hunting is expensive enough already.
Why $9: the popular tools charge $24-29/month. I wanted something you pay for once during your search and keep forever.
Before launch day I'd love feedback from this community, especially:
- What would make you trust an AI-tailored resume?
- Anything you'd expect that I might be missing?
Happy to answer anything. Thanks for reading.
