Tailor Base Patterns to turn body measurements into sewing patterns

Hi Product Hunt! I’m Margarita, the solo founder of Tailor Base Patterns. I combine software development with hands-on experience in pattern drafting and sewing.

I built it to reduce the repetitive calculations and drawing involved in creating a pattern from someone’s measurements, leaving more time for design and making.

You can generate bodice and sleeve blocks, skirt patterns and dresses, customise the available design options, and save measurement sets for future projects. Base blocks use the established EMKO SEV drafting method.

The preview is free. Paid downloads include A4 PDF, plotter PDF and SVG for further editing in compatible software. The product is available on the web and Android with the same functionality. Accurate measurements and fitting checks still matter.
