I'm a wildlife, bird and nature photographer.
After every shoot, I'd spend 3+ hours going through thousands of bird photos looking for the sharp ones. I tried Aftershoot and FilterPixel, but they're trained on weddings and portraits and didn't work well for wildlife/birds.
So I built Tack.
It runs ML models I trained specifically on animal eyes: mammals, birds, and reptiles. It scores sharpness on the eye region (which is what usually matters in wildlife photography), and then it writes XMP sidecars so your ratings/picks show up in Lightroom (or any other software that reads XMP files).
It runs locally with no cloud uploads and no subscriptions. Just a one time purchase and its yours forever.
If you shoot birds/wildlife, I'd like to know: how long does culling take you right now? What would make this tool more useful?
