🧠 The Problem
Like many of you, I’d leave dozens of browser tabs open “just in case” I needed them. But realistically, many tabs just sat idle—using RAM, draining focus, and never getting revisited.
Manually closing them felt risky, and most tab managers were either too bloated or lacked automation.
That’s when I decided to build a Chrome extension that would:
- Automatically close inactive tabs after a set time
- Show notifications before closing (optional)
- Let users customize the inactivity limit
