When AI becomes the buyer, attention stops being the bottomneck

Hi PH! I am among many founders who are worried about how their products can stand out among hundreds of other AI tools. As a result, I can see my priority divided between creating value to generating exposure and capturing attention, ie. making things feels better, etc.

That makes total sense, but it rests on a hidden assumption: humans will continue to make every purchasing decision, and human attention will remain scarce.

Now imagine that an AI agent becomes the customer, or makes purchasing decisions on the customer s behalf. The attention problem changes completely. In that world, products may compete less for attention and more on actual value and measurable outcomes.

I do not know how quickly this future will arrive. But believing that AI will eventually play a major role in purchasing decisions makes me less concerned about fighting for attention and more focused on building something that deserves to be selected.
Btw I am launching Synthetic PM this week, a UX survey tool. Thanks for your attention as I still need them :)
