Thank you, Product Hunt community ❤️ We finished #2 Product of the Day today
Hey Product Hunt 👋
We’re still processing today.
We ended up as the #2 Product of the Day, and we also got featured, right alongside some incredible products we genuinely admire like @Framer . Seeing @Swytchcode sit there still doesn’t feel fully real.

Before anything else, thank you ❤️
To everyone who upvoted, commented, challenged us with hard questions, shared feedback, or just quietly supported us in the background, this launch was built on all of that energy.
And a special thank you to @fmerian for hunting us and believing in the product. That support genuinely made a difference in how the launch came together.
When we started @Swytchcode , it came from a very simple frustration we kept running into while building AI agents:
Agents are easy to build. Getting them to behave in production is the hard part.
Things break in the smallest ways:
APIs change silently, retries misfire, auth fails, and suddenly the “smart agent” becomes the least reliable part of the system.
So we built @Swytchcode CLI to sit between agents and APIs and make execution predictable.
Not smarter prompts. Not better models. Just a reliability layer between agents and APIs.
It handles
schema validation before requests
auth without exposing credentials to agents
idempotency so actions don’t duplicate
policy enforcement so agents stay within guardrails
durable state across tool calls
and access to 2000+ APIs out of the box

We also got a lot of questions today about how we got featured. We simply followed the Product Hunt team’s own guidelines
clean, simple graphics

a thoughtful Maker comment
a short, friendly intro video -
clear, straightforward description
and reaching out to PH Editorial when we felt ready

If you’re planning a launch, it’s worth reading.
We didn’t expect today to turn into this level of conversation.
The comments, the questions, the suggestions, even the criticism , it all genuinely shaped how we think about what we are building next. Some of the best ideas for @Swytchcode came directly from this thread.
If you want to try it, it takes literally one command:
npx swytchcodeFor more info explore our docs - https://docs.swytchcode.com/
And honestly, the highlight wasn’t the leaderboard.
It was the comments.
People didn’t just say “nice launch” , they went straight into real production edge cases, retries, auth flows, multi-tenant concerns. The exact problems we’ve been thinking about for months. That kind of feedback is rare.
It was also my first launch on Product Hunt, I got verified here, and got to experience the entire process end-to-end for the first time. More than anything, it was the conversations that stood out. We spoke to some genuinely incredible builders from across the world, and got to see how much thought people put into real production systems.
That’s what we’ll remember most from today. Grateful for everyone who showed up in their own way.
