If your API gets the same questions over and over, read this

All of the API teams I've worked with have to deal with the same hidden tax:

  1. A new developer joins, and the first thing they ask is, "How do I authenticate?"

  2. "Send me your request body" if someone gets an error.

  3. Another integration: the same eight or ten questions again.

Yes, there are docs, and there are collections for Postman.

But onboarding support still goes in circles.

We finally figured it out: Developers don't really want "docs."

They want things to flow.

They want to know what to do next for their own situation.

We have been working on something that is like your API support/onboarding engineer who is always there.

It doesn't send docs; instead, it tells developers what to do step by step.

We're getting ready to launch PH soon, and I'd really like to hear from people who are working on API onboarding or developer support:

Try the Playground (no need to sign up): https://playground.swytchcode.ai

If you want to get updates on the launch, here's our PH page. Following us helps us see how many people are interested: https://www.producthunt.com/products/swytchcode

When you think about onboarding devs to your API, what slows things down the most?
