This is a fantastic launch, @mcnaveen! The combination of in-browser Postgres and AI assistance is a game changer for database management. Can't wait to see the use cases unfold, especially with the CSV import feature. This will definitely streamline workflows for many makers! Upvoted!

This sounds really innovative, @mcnaveen! I'm curious about how the AI assistance integrates with database management. Are there specific use cases you've seen that highlight the LLM's capabilities in real-world applications? Also, will there be any limitations on the size or complexity of the databases we can create in this sandbox? Looking forward to the upcoming S3 deployment as well!

This looks absolutely incredible! 🎉 The ability to instantly create multiple Postgres databases right in the browser with postgres.new is such a powerful tool, especially when paired with an LLM. The use cases here are endless—whether it's quickly importing CSVs, generating detailed reports, or even creating charts and database diagrams on the fly. It's amazing to see how the Electric team has managed to compress Postgres down to under 3MB, making it so accessible and lightweight. Can't wait to see what people build with this! 🚀

This is easy and dare I say.. fun! Really makes schema design approachable. I think the biggest danger is that people will like it so much they'll just start using it in production - 'huh, it just created the graph I wanted, I'll just have it served up in an iframe in my app!" But seriously, supabase great product, UI and partnership on pglite. As always. Looking forward to digging into pglite more today.

As someone who isn't technical, I appreciate how detailed the blog is in explaining the use cases and the reasons behind this tool. It seems like a fantastic application of the new PGLite, which allows for cheap, disposable databases to be run locally for speed. The CSV use case is an excellent demonstration of the technology! Congratulations on the launch @ggrn and team!
