I rent. Most interior inspiration assumes you can knock out a wall or swap the floor, and a lot of AI room tools do exactly that to your photo: windows move, walls stretch, and the sofa you're about to buy would never fit.
Style My Space works the other way round. Upload one photo, pick a look, and you get the room you actually live in, furnished in that style. Walls, windows, doors and floor stay put. Where a style depends on built-in features, it swaps in things you can take with you when you move: rugs instead of new floors, lamps instead of rewiring, paint and textiles instead of panelling.
A few details:
- 30 named styles, each with its own palette, materials, key pieces and things to avoid, so Mediterranean and Amalfi actually look different.
- This week it also became a ChatGPT plugin with the same style library. There you get the written plan: what stays, what goes, what to buy, at one of three budgets.
