Hi Product Hunt — I’m JQ. Herston and I rebuilt Storytailor to give children’s ideas somewhere to go. As a child, I drew characters and hoped they would become my friends. Now a family can upload a drawing, create a character and bring it back for new illustrated stories. Start with a ridiculous adventure, a first day at school or a change at home. Read or listen together, explore Wonder Words™, then continue with off-screen activities. Educators get lesson plans, too. Grown-ups guide creation and sharing; children don’t need their own login. We want children to see themselves without every adventure having to be about what makes them different. Your first two stories are free. What would you make together, and what would make Storytailor more useful to you?

This is really a good product, about that children doesnt need to login then how can they access their credential or please tell me more about the product

Thank you! The grown-up signs in, so there are no separate credentials for the child to remember. Each child can have a Storytailor ID, a profile managed by the adult that keeps their characters, stories, and preferences together.

Families use Storytailor together through that signed-in account. They can turn an idea or an original drawing into a character, create illustrated stories with that character, and read or listen together. The same character can return in new adventures, whether they’re exploring something a child loves or something they’re trying to understand.

We want children to have a world that feels like theirs, with the grown-up managing access and sharing.

thank you so much for the clarification, I understand it even better and of course this is really a useful product

I would personally improve an onboarding process a little bit. From this message I do not completely know what kind of step I need to do – Is my name wrongly written? Is my date of birth incorrect? Maybe specify what is the next stem.

You didn't fill out the birthday fully. The label instructs, "MM/DD/YYYY" (you only put in 96, not 1996). Because it's an age check, it didn't alert on birthday verification. However, we updated it to be a bit clearer while also still discouraging underage users to sign up on their own.

I like that children can participate without needing their own account .That feels much more practical for families with younger kids.

Thank you. You can see this page to learn more about how to focus on safety above all else.
