Is the free plan generous enough? 25 AI credits + 10K events/mo — honest takes wanted
Trying to calibrate the free tier honestly before the App Store starts driving real install volume.
Current free plan:
10,000 storefront events / month
25 AI credits / month (= 12 AI error fixes OR 1 Quick theme review OR 25 AI SEO meta descriptions)
Specific-page accessibility scans (not full storefront)
7-day data retention
Email alerts to 1 recipient
The honest tension: Browser Rendering, Claude API, and D1 storage all cost real money per request. I want the free tier to be a real trial (not a 14-day countdown) AND I need it to not bankrupt me as installs scale.
Genuinely asking:
Would you install + actually evaluate StorePulse for a week on the current free plan? Or does one of those limits make you bounce before getting value?
If you'd bounce, which limit pushes you out first?
If you'd subscribe, what's the trigger? (More events? More AI credits? Storefront-wide accessibility? Scheduled scans?) I'd rather hear "your free plan is too stingy, I gave up" than have
people quietly leave. Brutal honesty appreciated.
