How do you handle scope creep without damaging client relationships?

by

Hey hunters,

I built StopScopeCreep after doing way too much free work as a freelancer.

You know the pattern, a client asks for "one small thing..." you say yes to keep the relationship, and two weeks later you've delivered double the project for the same price. No paper trail, no way to push back without feeling awkward.

So I built a simple tool: when a client asks for something outside scope, you draft a change request (AI helps), send them a link, they approve or reject it in one click. That's the whole thing. No invoicing, no contracts, no project management suite, just a clean audit trail for scope changes.

Happy to answer anything, about the product, the problem, or building it solo. Ask away.
