Still is a writing space designed to help you slow down and focus. Instead of distracting toolbars, notifications, and clutter, it offers a calm environment where your thoughts can flow naturally.

The clean interface makes it easy to just start writing without fiddling with settings. Love that it's completely standalone too, no account or sync nonsense.

Thanks for your kind words. All the best to you!

The clean layout really makes it easy to just start writing without fiddling with settings. Liked that it stays out of the way.

Thank you for your kind words. We designed it to feel calm and effortless, so you can enter your flow without distractions. It's wonderful to hear that came across.

The stripped-down interface really lets the words breathe. Love that the team resisted the urge to pack in features and just focused on making the writing experience feel calm and intentional.

Thanks! We spent a lot of time removing things rather than adding them. Happy to hear the calm, focused experience resonated with you.

How does this handle syncing between devices, or is it strictly local for now?

For now, it's strictly local. We're focusing on a fast, private writing experience first, with syncing as a possible future addition.

Love how the chrome around the editor basically disappears, just leaving the cursor and the page. That kind of restraint is harder to pull off than piling on features.

Thank you! We spent a lot of time removing rather than adding. It's great to hear that the minimal interface and focus on the writing experience stood out to you.

Curious how it handles exporting drafts, especially if I want to keep using my current workflow on other devices. Is there cloud sync or is everything stored locally?

Thanks for asking! For now, everything is stored locally. Draft export is a possible future feature we're considering to make it easier to fit Still into your existing workflow.

Curious how it handles exporting to common formats like .docx or markdown without requiring a clunky conversion step? Also wondering if syncing across devices is built in or needs an account.

Thanks for the great questions! It currently supports importing .docx files. Exporting to formats like .docx or Markdown is something we're considering for a future update. As for syncing, your notes are stored in the cloud, so you'll need an account to access them across devices.
