StereoLift 2D to 3D video conversion - Easy to use and affordable SaaS for 3D video conversion

by
StereoLift converts 2D videos into Full Side-by-Side 3D for VR headsets, 3D TVs, and media players. What sets it apart is competitive depth perception in combination with processing speed that approaches real time even at 4K 30 fps, and pricing that reflects that efficiency directly. No subscriptions, no accounts, and payment is only captured after a conversion has been successfully delivered. Output resolutions up to 4K per eye, frame rates up to 90 fps, original audio and HDR10 preserved.

Ever since I was a kid, I've been fascinated by stereoscopy. I loved the autostereograms in the Magic Eye book series and the anaglyph 3D images you could experience with the red-green glasses that sometimes came as a gimmick in the German Yps magazine. Later, during my neuroscience studies, I learned why we actually perceive depth and that a 3D experience without false colors can simply be achieved by viewing side-by-side images while crossing your eyes. That ability certainly helped me debug this project. But the true experience came with 3D-enabled devices like TVs and projectors with shutter glasses, or cinema screenings with polarized glasses. Unfortunately, these technologies always suffered from a dim picture and ghosting. These shortcomings, combined with higher production costs, have led to a dramatic decline of 3D content to this day. VR headsets overcome most of these technical limitations and will make the experience far more accessible as displays improve and devices get lighter. But one fundamental problem remains: there simply isn't enough content. Generative AI has recently enabled direct 2D-to-3D video conversion, but until now there was no easy solution that lets everyone convert any video to 3D while preserving the original resolution, color, and audio quality. Existing tools either require beefy hardware, deliver inferior output, charge significantly more for cloud conversion, or all of the above. That's why I built StereoLift. It's finally an easy, affordable way to turn any video into high-quality 3D. I'd love for you to give it a try and let me know what you think!
