Steampunk was born out of a simple necessity: The frustration of trying to watch video content synchronously with friends or remote teams, only to deal with persistent audio-video lag, heavy UI bloat or restrictive paywalls so the goal was to build a highly optimized, minimalist web application focused entirely on seamless, real-time synchronization and the application is completely free to use.
