Statly started from a simple problem: coaches and scouts need clean answers fast, not another dashboard. Basketball data comes from different sources with different naming and shapes, so the hard part was not the UI, it was building the scraper and normalization layer and making the backend own report generation. That pipeline now powers live reports during games and post-game PDFs after the final buzzer. I built it for people who need to explain what happened in a game, not just collect stats.
