What inspired you to build this?
After 5 years working as a brand strategist and designer, I kept seeing the same pattern. The founders who needed branding the most, the ones just starting out, building something real with limited resources were always the ones who couldn't access it properly. They'd either skip strategy entirely and go straight to a logo on Canva, or stretch their budget on an agency and get a beautiful deliverable that didn't actually reflect who they were.
I was charging $2,500 to $5,500 per project, and I was fully booked. But for every client I took on, there were ten founders I couldn't help. That gap bothered me.
What problem were you trying to solve?
Brand strategy is gatekept by price. A real brand strategy, the kind that defines your purpose, positions you against competitors, articulates who you're for and who you're not for, and gives your visual identity actual meaning that process normally lives behind a $2,500+ invoice. Most early-stage founders simply don't have that.
But the deeper problem isn't just cost. It's that founders don't know what they don't know. They think branding is a logo. They don't realize that the reason their messaging feels scattered, their content doesn't convert, and their audience doesn't stick, is because there's no strategic foundation underneath. I wanted to solve that at the root.
How did your approach evolve during the process?
I started by looking at what I already had. Over five years I had systemized my entire process templates, questionnaires, a client portal in Notion, a structured discovery methodology. I realized I wasn't starting from scratch. I was sitting on a proven system that I just needed to productize.
The evolution was mental more than tactical. I had to stop thinking like a service provider and start thinking like a product builder. The question shifted from "how do I do great work for this client?" to "how do I encode what makes my work great into something that runs without me?"
My co-founder, a full-stack developer with an AI background, helped me see that the transformation happening between a founder's questionnaire answers and the final strategy document that interpretive, strategic leap was exactly what the AI layer needed to replicate. That's where we focused everything. Not on generating a logo, but on replicating the thinking that makes a brand actually work.
The MVP we're building now is deliberately narrow for that reason. Strategy first. Visuals come later. Get the foundation right.
