Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Squishyfile because I kept running into small but annoying file problems: PDFs too large to upload, images that needed resizing, videos in the wrong format, character limits for social posts, and quick barcode generation. Most online file tools work by uploading your files to a server first. I wanted something simpler and more private, so Squishyfile runs file processing directly in the browser whenever possible. Today it includes tools for: * Compressing PDFs, videos, JPGs, PNGs, and images * Converting videos, including MOV/AVI/MKV/WebM to MP4 * Extracting MP3 from video * Merging PDFs * Generating barcodes and JAN codes * Counting words, characters, manuscript length, and SNS character limits The goal is to make everyday file tasks fast, lightweight, and privacy-friendly.
