SQL Gnome - A lightweight MySQL client for macOS

by
SQL Gnome is a fast, native MySQL client built for macOS. It focuses on the workflows developers actually use: browsing tables, running queries, and exploring data—without the clutter of heavy database tools. Clean interface, safe row limits for large tables, and quick query iteration make it a simple way to work with MySQL. Built by a developer who just wanted a better everyday database tool.

Hey everyone 👋 I built SQL Gnome because I spend a lot of time working directly in MySQL and most database tools felt heavier than they needed to be. I wanted something that focused on the core workflow: browsing tables, running queries, and exploring data — quickly and without a lot of clutter. So I built a lightweight macOS client that keeps things simple while still being practical for real datasets (safe row limits, fast query iteration, etc). Would love to hear what you think and what features you’d want in a MySQL client you use every day. Thanks for checking it out! — Harry
