Hey Product Hunt! I’m the solo developer behind SpotTheFan. We all love the feeling of seeing our Spotify Wrapped drop in December, exposing our guilty pleasures and comparing stats with friends. But waiting a whole year to do it again kind of sucks! So, I built SpotTheFan: a real-time multiplayer party game that lets you relive that "exposing your music taste" feeling anytime you want. Here is how it works: Create a lobby and invite your friends with a code. The game generates a personalized trivia quiz based on your group's actual listening history (using public Last.fm accounts). Guess "Whose song is this?" while listening to live 30-second audio snippets of the tracks your friends had on repeat. Send live emoji reactions when your friends get exposed! 🎵 It’s completely free on Android and Web. I originally built this to make Discord calls and Friday night hangouts with my friends a bit more fun, and decided to release it for everyone.
