The idea is simple: make two-handed typing on iPad more comfortable with a familiar layout split into two balanced halves.
Split Keyboard includes letters, numbers, symbols, accents, Caps Lock, and adaptive Return keys. It also switches to a compact layout in narrow windows.
Privacy is built in: no network access, analytics, or persistent keystroke storage, and Full Access stays disabled. It’s a one-time purchase, with no subscription.
It works on iPadOS 18 or later in apps that support third-party keyboards. Secure and phone-number fields still use Apple’s system keyboard.
