Like many of us, I got sick of wasting hours doom scrolling on social media. But, I dont want to free disconnect from whats happening as most of the time we get latest on whats happening directly thru social media. So I want to see an app that could cut down on noise yet deliver benefits of social media. The problem am solving is simple - save your brain from nonstop noise without losing social connection with your local community bonding in 22 different languages from India and North America. I started off with keeping the posts limited to 200 characters with scaffolding option using AI. After taking inputs from family and friends it became clearer that 200 characters limitation is really a deal breaker for users who want to post long thoughts. But the bigger problem was scaffolding the post although you would think it was not a bad idea but users resonate more with post they create rather than AI slop. More importantly author has sense of satisfaction which an AI slop will never give.
