I always wanted a language app that was no nonsense. To simply learn the the most important vocabulary (HSK) and speak Chinese. That is why I created SpeakHSK.com. I mixed a spaced repetition system for the vocab and then a dictation system that capture my speaking and told me weather I said it well or not. That way I get instant feedback and know what I need to fix when speaking Chinese. That means that the focus is on entirely on speaking the language, which in my opinion is the most important part.
