Hi Product Hunt! I switched from Mac to Windows a few years ago and the one thing I couldn't stop missing was Finder's column view (Miller Columns). In Windows Explorer, every time you open a folder, the previous view disappears. You're constantly clicking back and forth, losing context of where you are in the hierarchy. So I built SPAN Finder — a native Windows file explorer with Miller Columns at its core. Click a folder, and its contents appear in the next column. You always see your full path laid out horizontally. Some highlights: • 4 view modes (Miller / Details / List / Icons) • Multi-tab with session restore • Split view (dual-pane explorer) • 10 developer-favorite themes (Tokyo Night, Dracula, Nord...) • 30+ keyboard shortcuts • FTP/SFTP support • Preview panel (images, video, code, PDF, hex, fonts) Built with WinUI 3 and .NET 8. Fully open-source (MIT). Available free on the Microsoft Store. I'd love to hear your feedback!
