What should a Mac cleaner never touch?

by•

A cleaner is only useful if you trust it, so here are the rules SpaceUp Mac follows:

- Nothing is removed until you see what it is, why it's safe, and approve it.

- Your own files go to the Trash, so you can undo.

- The few permanent actions, like old iPhone backups, are marked "Can't undo" and need your confirmation.

- SpaceUp never auto-deletes local AI models, and never removes Apple Intelligence or its models.

- No speed-up claims and no malware scanner. It makes room, that's it.

What would you add? Which folders or apps would you never want a cleaner to go near?
