Ad blocking on iOS is a weirdly good example of a market hiding in plain sight.
Every thread about it turns into people trading workarounds: uBlock Origin Lite for Safari, Firefox Focus as a system content blocker, Orion because it actually allows extensions. Nobody is happy, everybody has a hack. That's usually the signal that a real problem is sitting unsolved, not a boring one.
The tradeoff is that Apple keeps the platform locked down enough that most "just build a better blocker" ideas die on distribution. So the interesting angle probably isn't a generic blocker — it's something narrow, like a privacy-friendly content blocker aimed at creators or small business owners who don't want to fiddle with configs.
That gap between loud complaints and no clean answer is exactly what I built SoloVault to surface. It watches for these recurring frustrations and turns them into concrete micro SaaS ideas you can actually scope.
When you see a thread full of workarounds, do you read that as opportunity or as a warning that the platform won't let you win?
