Why I Built SokuMemo ⚡
by•
Like many people, I often had ideas that disappeared before I had a chance to write them down.
Most note apps felt too slow for that first moment—you open them, wait, choose a note, then start typing.
So I built SokuMemo to remove those extra steps.
The name comes from the Japanese word "Soku" (即), which means "instantly", "immediately", or "the very moment."
That idea is at the heart of the app:
Capture your thoughts the moment they appear.
It's a simple note app that opens quickly, lets you start writing right away, and even supports voice input when typing isn't convenient.
I'd love to hear what features would make it even better!
