Clipping is the easy part. Posting them is where everyone quits.

I build SnapDub, a tool that cuts long videos into short clips. The thing that surprised me most is not where people struggle with the cutting. It is where they stop afterwards.

Cutting is close to solved. A dozen tools do it and they mostly do it fine. What I keep running into is a folder of twenty finished clips that never went anywhere, because actually posting them means opening three apps, writing three descriptions and choosing three cover frames, today and tomorrow and the day after.

So before I launch here, I want to ask the people who do this for real: where does your own clipping habit actually die?

• You never get around to cutting in the first place

• You cut them and they sit in a folder

• You post to one platform and never carry them over to the others

• You post everywhere and nothing lands, so you stop

I genuinely do not know whether this is the same for everyone or whether I have been optimising for my own version of the problem, and the answer changes what I build next. SnapDub goes live here tomorrow at 12:01am PT and I will be around all day.
