Building an AI tool to help people navigate career transitions, would love your input

I'm Gene, a solo developer, and I'm launching SmartRolePath here soon. Before I do, I wanted to share the story and get your thoughts, since this community has shaped a lot of how I think about building in public.
A little over a month ago, I started building this after watching too many friends get laid off and freeze. Not because they weren't capable, but because they had no idea what their next move should actually be. The advice out there was either too generic ("just network more!") or too expensive (career coaching most people can't justify right after losing income).
So I built SmartRolePath: an AI powered tool that generates a personalized career roadmap based on your actual background, pulling from real live job market data (not just generic AI suggestions). It maps out phased steps, timeline, salary insight, and skill gaps, so instead of vague encouragement, you get an actual plan.
A few questions for this community, genuinely curious what you all think:
If you've gone through a career pivot, what was the hardest part, the "what should I even do" stage, or the "how do I execute" stage?
For those who've used AI career tools before, what made them feel useful vs. gimmicky?
Anyone here work in HR tech or outplacement services? I'd love to hear how you think about this space.
