I’m incredibly excited to launch Sippo today.
The Problem:
Like many of you, I spend hours glued to my Mac, completely lost in deep work. I constantly found myself reaching the end of the day feeling groggy or with a headache, only to realize I hadn't drank a single glass of water. The existing solutions were either overly aggressive with jarring system notifications, bloated with unnecessary tracking features, or worse—demanded a monthly subscription for a simple utility.
The Solution:
I built Sippo to fix this. It’s a lightweight, friendly water reminder app designed specifically for Mac. Instead of an annoying ping, a little buddy simply pops up in the corner of your screen to gently nudge you to hydrate, keeping you healthy without breaking your flow state.
The Approach:
While building this, my main focus was keeping the user experience as frictionless and fair as possible. That’s why I deliberately avoided the subscription model. You get a full 14 days to see if it helps your routine, and then it’s just a simple one-time payment of $14.99.
I’d love to hear your feedback, answer any questions, and know what you think of our little hydration buddy. Stay hydrated! 😊
This is adorable! Can my little buddy join me on my iPhone when I'm on the go?

@jaclyn_iul Thank you for your feedback, Sippo is currently focused exclusively on macOS to help maintain hydration during deep work at the desk. However, an iOS companion app is a great suggestion and is definitely something I will be evaluating for the future roadmap.
