SimaRecord for Chrome - Free Chrome recorder with premium auto-zoom

Hey There 👋 I built SimaRecord for Chrome because most screen recordings are technically fine, but not demo-ready. When you’re showing a product, the viewer often misses the click, the tiny UI change, or the part of the screen they should be watching. SimaRecord adds the polish automatically: smooth click-driven auto-zoom, cursor spotlight, live annotations, optional webcam overlay, mic recording, and a local editor for trim/export. The big constraint I wanted: no cloud recorder dependency. The Chrome extension works locally, stores recordings locally, and does not require an account or upload step. It is useful for: - product demos - tutorials - support walkthroughs - bug reports - founder/customer updates This is the first public Chrome release, so I’d love feedback from makers, support teams, educators, and anyone who records browser demos often.
