Hey community! 👋 We all know video is global, but localizing it sucks. Traditional dubbing is expensive, and most AI tools strip out the soul of your video—leaving you with robotic voices and completely wiping out your background music. To make matters worse, they trap you in monthly subscriptions and keep your data forever. We built Silenis to change that. Silenis is a privacy-first, pay-as-you-go AI video dubbing platform that translates your content into 40+ languages while keeping the original emotional delivery and background music completely intact. 🌟 What makes Silenis different? Emotional & Sonic Fidelity: We don't just swap text-to-speech. We preserve the emotional highs and lows of the speaker and seamlessly blend the new audio with your original background track. Pay-As-You-Go (No Subscription Traps): Only need to dub one video a month? Only pay for one video. No subscriptions, no credits that expire, and no credit card required to try it. Fine-Tuning Control: AI gets names or specialized terms wrong sometimes. Silenis lets you manually fine-tune the translation so it’s exactly how you want it. Strict 24-Hour Privacy Purge: We don’t hoard your content to train models. Your job data is automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within 24 hours. 👥 Who is this for? Creators & YouTubers looking to unlock global audiences without breaking the bank. Marketers & E-commerce brands localizing ads for different regions at lightning speed. Teams & HR translating internal training videos securely. 🎁 Exclusive for the PH Community Today: We want you to stress-test this. You can try out our free preview right now with zero commitment. Check out silenis.online, run a video through it, and let us know what you think! We’ll be active in the comments all day to answer your questions, take feedback, and hear what languages you want added next. 🚀
👋 Maker here.

The reason I built this: I had a 4-min podcast clip I wanted to share
in Spanish with my friends. ElevenLabs wanted me on a $22/mo plan.
Rask wanted $24/mo. I wanted to dub ONE thing.

So: no subscription. Pay per second of finished audio.
$0.12/6s means a 5-min video in another language costs ~$10.
A 30-sec clip costs ~$0.50.

A few things I'd love feedback on (I'll be in the comments all day):
1. Which language should I add next? Currently at 40+
2. Does the manual fine-tune feel useful, or is auto good enough?
3. Anyone actually testing on a long-form podcast?

Also — I see every upvoter. If you upvote, tell me which video
you'd dub first. I'll reply to as many as I can today.

The auto-delete after 24 hours is a really thoughtful touch, especially for a dubbing tool where creators might be uploading unreleased content. Nice to see privacy treated as a real feature instead of an afterthought.

İlker — thanks, that's a generous read. Actual reason is pretty selfish: I didn't want to be the guy holding someone's unreleased podcast at 3am. Defaulting to delete-everything turned out simpler operationally AND less creepy. Win-win on top of just being the right call. Quick ask — solo creator with unreleased content, or evaluating for a team? They optimize for different things in pricing. (If you've got unreleased content that needs dubbing, drop a link in your reply — I'll personally process the first 3 today, free.)

Tried dubbing a short clip into Spanish and was impressed how natural the voice sounded and that the background music stayed intact. The pay-as-you-go pricing without needing a card made it easy to just test it out.

Thanks Zerda — that's exactly the use case I had in mind. Quick question: did the manual fine-tune step come up for you, or did the auto translation feel "good enough" for the short clip? (Asking because I'm trying to figure out if most people want it for specialized terms, or if they trust auto. Be honest.)

love that you can preview the dub before paying anything, it shows respect for the user's time. the auto-delete after 24 hours is a thoughtful touch too.

Zehra — you just tied together the two things I'm most proud of. Both default to "respect-first" instead of "capture-first". I tried to flip every friction-heavy default from dubbing SaaS into something that didn't punish curiosity. Pay only when you use. Data only when you keep it. Quick honest ask: did the 24h delete make you feel better than the preview, or did they register equally? Trying to figure out which one actually moved the needle.

Tried dubbing a short clip into Spanish and the emotional tone actually came through, which surprised me. The free preview before paying is a nice touch.

Tunahan — "surprised me" is honestly the highest compliment. Most AI dubbing flattens emotion because the model processes audio frame-by-frame rather than preserving the speaker's natural prosody. Took us a while to get there. Quick ask — what did you dub? Personal clip or audience use case? They pull toward different features. (And if you want to test on a longer clip, drop a link in your reply — I'll dub it free today. The model actually performs better on long-form than short bursts.)
