Hey everyone! We just shipped v1.10.0 for macOS, with a big focus on making the connection setup simpler, especially for Tesla.
Screen-Only Hotspot Now Works with Tesla
This is the big one. You can now use your Tesla as a second display with no internet or tethering required. Just turn on the screen-only hotspot and connect. No phone needed.
Redesigned Connection Modes
Connection setup is now clearer: choose "Same network" or a single "Hotspot" with a "Share my internet" or "Screen only" option. Easier to pick the right one.
Live Connection Prerequisites
The app now shows you the status of everything it needs (internet source, Wi-Fi, Internet Sharing) in real time, and verifies your setup before letting you hit Start. Less guesswork when something isn't connecting.
Updated Getting Started Guide
The in-app guide has been rebuilt around the new connection modes. Tesla flows now start by resetting the car's Wi-Fi to keep things reliable.
Also includes various DNS and hotspot stability fixes.
