Hi Product Hunt! I built Shuffle because I wanted a file manager that treats speed as the feature: GPU rendering via Metal, virtualized lists, and a Cmd+P fuzzy search that answers in about a millisecond over your whole home directory. I originally wanted to do something like FilePilot as that's the first file manager that clicked with me and couldn't find anything similar in MacOS. That's when I decided I had to build something of equal quality. While we're still far from what I would like I believe getting it into people's hands can show me just where I should focus next. It is completely free and open source (MIT). A one-time Pro purchase for extra power features is a maybe, but it would be more like WinRAR where you will not be required to pay to use it. I would love to hear which Finder frustration you want fixed next.
