Hey everyone! 👋 I'm Nizam, the maker of Shipnote. This started with a frustration I kept running into while building software. AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor and GitHub Copilot have completely changed how fast we can build. I found myself shipping multiple features every day, but the part after shipping never got any faster. Writing release notes. Updating the changelog. Posting on X, LinkedIn, Discord, Slack, Reddit. Sending emails. Keeping customers informed. It became the job I always said I'd do later. The result? Features I'd spent days building would quietly go live, and most users never even knew they existed. I looked for a tool that could read my commits and PRs, understand what customers actually care about, and write announcements in my own style. I couldn't find one, so I built Shipnote. The goal wasn't to replace writing... it was to eliminate the repetitive work after every release. Connect your repository (read-only), and Shipnote automatically turns commits and pull requests into customer-friendly release notes, changelogs, emails, blog posts, social posts and more.
