Preserve your SEO rank and avoid loads of broken links when migrating your site. Compare your old and new sitemaps for free using Shiftmap, and easily export to a Webflow-valid 301 redirect CSV.
Hey everyone, Michael from Lightning UX here. Very excited to reveal Shiftmap to the world!
After working with many clients to migrate their sites from one platform to another, one thing always caused friction: sitemaps.
Often, clients want a new site, with a new look and feel - and often this results in new URL structures.
But once you're knee-deep in design and development, it's easy to forget about aligning or redirecting every single URL from the old site, especially on sites with hundreds or even thousands of pages!
That's why I built Shiftmap. It allows you to drop in the old and new sitemaps (either as a URL link or the XML content) and instantly compare them. See what's been removed, what's been added, and what remains the same.
What's more, you can then copy specific relative URLs to drop into tools like Webflow to set up individual 301 redirects, or export the entire list as a CSV so every link is mapped.
This is all compatible with Webflow (as it's the daily driver at Lightning UX), but should also work with other common 301 redirect tools.
Shiftmap is free, and I hope it saves you and your clients some time. Cheers!
