We built SharePoint Governance Scan after repeatedly seeing organizations struggle with SharePoint sprawl, overshared content, permission issues, compliance risks, and growing storage costs. Most Microsoft 365 environments contain hundreds of sites, thousands of documents, and complex permission structures, making governance audits time-consuming and reactive. Our goal was to create a simple way for administrators and compliance teams to assess security, governance, compliance, content quality, and storage optimization from a single platform. The result is a tool that can scan individual sites or entire SharePoint environments, surface risks, and generate actionable governance reports in minutes instead of days.
