What should a modern SERP API handle in 2026?

Developers are increasingly dealing with:

• AI Overviews & AI citations

• Local search & Google Maps

• Rank tracking

• Multiple search engines

• Structured data for AI agents

• High-volume requests without huge infrastructure costs
