Launching QuickTaskManager on Product Hunt soon. Unlike most task managers (Asana, Monday, ClickUp...), which put every customer in one shared database, each company here gets its own physically separate database and its own link (yourcompany.sepirox.com).
Curious: does real data isolation actually matter to you when picking a work tool, or is it just an engineering detail? Ever had a bad experience with a shared multi-tenant system?
I'm launching QuickTaskManager on Product Hunt in a couple of days, and before I do, I wanted to ask something I've been thinking about a lot.
Almost every task/project manager out there (Asana, Monday, ClickUp, Trello...) puts every customer's data in the same shared database, with an internal ID separating companies. It's the standard, cheap-to-scale way to build multi-tenant SaaS.
I built QuickTaskManager differently: every company gets its own physically separate database and its own dedicated link (yourcompany.sepirox.com) instead of a shared login screen.
A few questions for anyone who's used tools like this at work:
> Most task managers put every company in one shared database, identified by an internal ID. QuickTaskManager gives each company its own isolated database and its own dedicated link — yourcompany.sepirox.com — instead of a shared login screen. Add role-based dashboards for CEOs, managers, and employees, live task and project tracking, built-in reports, and real dark mode. Not another shared SaaS tool — a private workspace that happens to run in the cloud.
