sendit - E-cards that you can view like real cards.

by•
sendit leverages the shape of a laptop to allow you to open up e-cards just like you would a physical card! it keeps things simple: make a card, send a code to your recipient, and then let them view the card! best part: no data is stored by sendit :)

I made this after realizing that laptops, when held upside down, looked a lot like really big cards. This got me thinking about the differences between giving and receiving physical vs. digital cards. What's that gap? Is there one? No data is stored by sendit—whatever you send to your recipient is encoded in a really big string (code) that you send to them. No privacy is sacrificed there, and hopefully the entering in of a code + viewing the card upside down recreates the feeling of opening an envelope + opening the actual card just a little bit :)
