Would you pay £3.99/month for an app that stops you missing bills, renewals and life-admin tasks?
I’m working on an app idea and would really value honest feedback.
The app helps you stay on top of bills, renewals, subscriptions and important life-admin tasks by turning them into a simple calendar and dashboard.
It would work by scanning your emails and photograph any paper bills to find things like upcoming payments, renewal dates, insurance documents, utility bills, subscriptions, MOT/tax reminders, pet insurance, school costs and other household admin.
The aim is to help people avoid missed payments, forgotten renewals, last-minute surprises and the stress of trying to remember everything manually. People have upcoming bills lost in hundreds of emails that they have scrolled past.
For privacy, the app would only use specific information needed to create reminders and calendar entries, such as the company name, bill type, amount, due date or renewal date. It would not read or use unrelated personal email content, would not store any other information other than what was mentioned and also it would not send data off to help train AI models.
Key features would include:
A simple calendar showing upcoming bills, renewals and deadlines
A dashboard showing what is due today, this week & this month
Email scanning to find relevant bills and renewal reminders
Paper bill scanning for letters and documents ( take a photo of a bill and it uploads the key info to the calendar)
Categories such as Home, Car, Life and Pets
Reminders before bills or renewals are due
A place to keep important bill and policy details organised in a vault
The idea is not to be a banking app or budgeting app. It is more of a life-admin organiser for households, families, drivers, pet owners and anyone who struggles to keep track of bills and renewals.
Would you use an app like this?
Would you be willing to pay a small monthly subscription, for example around £2.99 - £4.99 per month if it saved you time, stress and helped prevent missed bills or forgotten renewals?
Any honest feedback would be really useful, especially whether this feels valuable enough to pay for, what concerns you would have and what features would make it a must-have.
