Would you build a feature that has zero growth value but feels right?

Solo dev, launching Friday. My plant app does something I can't really justify on a spreadsheet: when a plant dies, instead of deleting it, it writes the plant a little goodbye. No retention math behind it, I just couldn't stand the delete button. Did I waste my time or do small "useless" touches like this actually matter to you?
