Would parents actually use this to schedule playdates?
I’ve been building a simple tool for parents to coordinate kids’ playdates and friend/parent communities without the usual back-and-forth messaging.
The goal is pretty straightforward: instead of 15–20 texts like “does this time work?” you can suggest a time, match schedules, and confirm a playdate in a couple of steps.
Here’s the early concept: https://playdateapp.framer.website/
I’m sharing this to get real feedback from other parents because I think this is a real pain point, but I want to pressure-test that assumption.
A few questions I’m curious about:
Would you use something like this instead of texting/group chats?
What would need to be true for you to switch? i.e. what if it had the 'hook' of a pre-curated friend/class list?
Or is this already “solved” by how you currently coordinate?
Appreciate any honest feedback — especially what doesn’t make sense yet or feels unneeded.
