Why can you see my location but I can't see when you looked?

Most location sharing apps give one person silent, unlimited access to another person's whereabouts. They can check anytime, as many times as they want, and you'll never know.

I built Latitude for people who don't mind being findable but want to know when someone actually looks. Every time someone checks your location, you get notified. No ads, no data selling, no location history — every check overwrites the last.
