What's the one small macOS annoyance you can't believe Apple still hasn't fixed?

by

This has bugged me for years: macOS has no "New File" command in Finder. To drop a blank .txt/.md/.json into the folder I'm working in, I'd open an app, save an empty file, then move it — or jump to Terminal and touch.

Genuinely curious how everyone else handles it: Automator Quick Action? BetterTouchTool? A Keyboard Maestro macro? Just live with Terminal?

(Full disclosure — I got annoyed enough that I built a little utility for it, CreateFiles+, which adds a New File command to Finder/menu bar/shortcut. It's on today. But I'm honestly more interested in the workflows people actually use, since I clearly went down a rabbit hole here.)
