What do you actually want from a subscription manager?
I’ve been building SubTrack, and while working on it I realised that managing subscriptions is only one part of the problem.
The more interesting part is what you do with that information.
For example, instead of only showing “Netflix, $15”, I wanted SubTrack to help answer questions like:
How much am I spending every month and every year?
What am I spending by category or payment method?
What is going to be charged next?
And when I want to keep a record of it, can I actually get something useful out of my data?
That led me to build some features I personally found more useful than another subscription list.
You can choose the exact date and time for payment reminders, generate a proper financial report as a PDF, export your data as CSV, back everything up to Google Drive, and work with 45+ currencies.
I’m curious about other people who manage a lot of recurring payments.
What is the one thing your current subscription manager does not do that you wish it did?
