We built Onbrd — stop onboarding clients over email

by•

Hey everyone! 👋

We just launched Onbrd () and wanted to share it here.

The problem: Every time you sign a new client, you end up in the same cycle — scattered emails, attachments getting lost, "did you get my last message?", and clients who have no idea what step they're on. It's stressful for you and confusing for them.

What Onbrd does: It lets you build a clean, step-by-step onboarding portal in minutes. You share one link with your client, and they can see exactly what they need to do, in order, with no back-and-forth. You can track their progress from your side so you always know where things stand.

Who it's for: — Freelancers tired of chasing clients for info — Agencies juggling multiple client kickoffs at once — SaaS teams who want a smoother post-signup experience

Why we built it: We kept seeing the same pattern — smart people running great businesses but losing time (and sometimes clients) to chaotic onboarding. Email was never designed for this. A shared portal with clear steps just works better.

Pricing: Free to start, with premium plans as you grow.

We'd love for you to try it out and tell us what you think. Happy to answer any questions here!

The client who has no idea what step they are on is the expensive part, not the emails themselves. I have seen the same pattern from the founder side, someone assumes the client saw the message, the client assumes silence means nothing is needed from them, and the gap just sits there until someone is annoyed. I built FounderFlow for the operator side of a similar problem, catching what is not moving before it turns into a client complaint. Do agencies mostly use Onbrd to look organized to the client, or is the bigger win actually you not having to remember where each client is yourself?
