We built a way for ChatGPT & Claude to update our CRM & task boards directly inside Google Workspace

I’m Nick, one of the builders behind Tooling Studio.

We’ve been building workflow tools inside Google Workspace for the past couple of years, starting with Kanban Tasks and later Sales CRM.

While working with teams using the products, we kept noticing how much sales and operational work already happens inside Gmail. Customer conversations live in email threads, follow-ups come out of meetings, and next steps are discussed throughout the day across messages, tasks, and calls.

The CRM or Kanban board usually gets updated afterward.

Sometimes that happens immediately. Sometimes it happens at the end of the day. Sometimes it gets postponed long enough that people have to reconstruct what actually happened.

As more teams started using AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude in their daily workflow, we became interested in a simple question:

What happens when AI can work directly with the operational systems teams already use?

That led us to build Tooling Studio MCP.

It connects AI apps like ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor directly to Sales CRM and Kanban Tasks inside Google Workspace, so people can update workflows in plain language while they are already working.

Examples:
“Create follow-up tasks from this email.”
“Move this deal to proposal.”
“Add these meeting notes to the contact.”
“Show me tasks that have been blocked for more than a week.”
